Magog Announce Their Latest Line of Enhanced Coatings and Materials
Magog Industries, U.K's leading manufacturer of screws and barrels for the plastics industry recently announced the release of a new range of coatings and materials that are specifically designed to optimize for longer life and greater resistance in demanding processes where large proportions of recycled material are used. Their Thin Dense Chrome (TDC) is FDA approved and is a great solution to enhance wear with low friction. On the other hand High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) is a starch-resistant coating that provides crack-free 98% density with hardness of 62 to 72 HRC. Blown Film extrusion is a particularly demanding application and Magog have said that they are looking for solutions, specifically, surface treatment for abrasion and potential corrosion to increase resilience and longevity in ceramic and chrome seal coatings for such demanding applications. 24/7 Mobile Pipe Extruder Could Disrupt the Industrial Piping Supply Chain

As the industrial piping industry recovers form the detrimental economic effects caused by COVID-19, innovative firms present new cost-efficient technologies with the potential to disrupt the entire industry. This disruptive technology allows piping firms to produce high density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) directly on site, a process that is simpler and more cost effective than buying pipes from wholesalers and having them shipped to the site.
