Gene Brown has proven through his more than 25 years experience demonstrated growth and success in implementing production and project-based initiatives in support of key wire and cable business strategies. Beyond his technical expertise, Mr. Brown's experience and knowledge includes new product development, strict adherence to product specifications, scheduling of product flow and instituting efficiency/productivity improvements. Technical expertise in continuous extrusion processes and new equipment startups (both in the US and international sites), Mr. Brown has a focus on cost savings, reduced carbon footprint, and ergonomics. Within two weeks, the line speed was increased 200%. All of the customers cosmetic and physical performance requirements were met which allowed payment to the OEM.
- Project Management, Equipment Start-Ups and Coordination of a Plant Closure with responsibilities to prep and skid all machinery for relocation. Prepare building and site to pass all EPA compliance requirements and ready site for sale.
- Co Project-Manager of $30M construction and equipment installation project, in sequence with multiple other projects in various states and countries. Worked with a team of project managers relocating and purchasing equipment for a major Wire and Cable coating manufacturer facilitating installations in Canada, Illinois, and Texas

- As a Technical Applications Engineer participated in the start-up of the first US manufactured five-layer extrusion system utilizing cross head technology for tubing applications (both automotive and medical applications).
- Additional responsibilities acting as the R/D lab manager for all new tooling designs. Produce samplers of a multitude of applications with diameters ranging from 0.005 OD to 4.5” OD. Products include the conductor for the Mar’s robot, Ink pen cartridges, pencils from extrudable lead, three layer medical tube .030 OD with wall thicknesses ranging from 0.0005” - 0.001”.
