- 30+ years of experience in the design and manufacture of film products and their conversion - printing, laminating, and finishing - into product forms suitable for their intended application.
- Experienced in reading, understanding, and preparing product specification sheets as well as establishing BOM and selecting/sequencing manufacturing processes. Well versed in quality control methods and in laboratory testing to establish conformance/failure to re-engineer products. Directed testing and quality control systems have applied GMP and TQM.
- Solid understanding and knowledge of film manufacturing and converting equipment and of the structure and properties of polyolefins as well as of a multitude of film structures, and the methods to improve and vary performance (barriers, stiffness, seal ability, formability, clarity, strength etc.) to obtain the simplest structure to fit the design parameters.
- Frequent seminar presentations and technical speaker at conferences on Blow Film and Converting operations including Latin Pack
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills combined with outstanding relational capabilities allow me to integrate and relate well to others
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain/present complex issues to manufacturers and in simple terms
- Perfectly fluent in English and Spanish.
